Big Yaxel fan. He’d fit our current identity like a glove.
Gonna be tough to draft this dude when we send our First to Chicago.
That catch and shoot looks great
I’m a massive fan of Yaxel and how he’s developing this season. Big enough to counter mobile centers that litter the league (though he might struggle with the ectomorphs), shoots it a bit, can pass, defensive playmaker. Just a laundry list of things I’d like.
Feels a lot like Cedric Coward last season – older but had an odd path so his development doesn’t feel as capped as your average 23 year old.
Unfortunately think someone like the Spurs (with the Hawks pick) will take him before we can.
For arguments sake, who sits out of Scoot, Shae, Toumani, Deni, and DC?
Yaxel would be such a good fit for this team

I like him a lot. We should have given him a guarantee last year and he would stayed in the draft.
Wanted him last year
Would very much support adding Yax in the draft. Especially since we keep our future draft assets.
Unfortunately I would rather not have a pick this year. Maybe we could add one via Rob/Tisse trade
Wanted him so bad last year. Was really disappointed when he withdrew. No clue how we could position to draft him, but certainly all for it!
