49ers UPDATE: What SF can learn from Seahawks – Patriots Super Bowl matchup at Levi’s

49ers ALARM UPDATE: News week at DC | Lessons from the Super Bowl matchup

  1. What they learned is that Niner team is lacking in every phase of the game! Too old, too slow, no quickness, all built by an outdated Kyle Shanahan plan and bad drafts by Lynch! Seahawks and Rams will rule the Western division for the next five years. Happy for much maligned Sam Darnold! He was clutch in this game!

  2. Must add in the trenches. Watching him run for his life was brutal. Coverage was great and time to make a decision to pass was brutal. Need to give Purdy more time or better separators (ideally both) if we want to hang with SEA

  3. Seacocks; take away their number 1 wide receiver, put their Tight end on IR twice during the regular season, put their Qb on IR for 8 weeks, and take their 5 best defensive players and put them all on IR, then let's see how well they play. I bet they don't even make the playoffs

  4. David the real lessons the niners can take away from Seattle
Is a real GM in Schneider can make great picks in the draft and free agent pick ups ! This is my take away

  5. Wow that poster with maye & darnold up front is wild considering it was made back in September so how do the niners get a script to win the superbowl?

  6. LOL I love you David! Your coverage is awesome! But I'm sorry I'm not going to take anything from any team other than to stay healthy. Any other team that's endured this many of injuries would have been top five in the draft. I believe if we had a healthy team, we would still be playing.

  7. I found both contests remarkably devoid of intrigue, with the Broncos–Patriots matchup verging on the soporific. The Rams–Seahawks game offered marginally more engagement, yet the true absurdity lay not in the play on the field but in the overarching farce surrounding the evening. At this point, the entire spectacle feels like an elaborate joke without a punchline. To heighten the bewilderment, the Rams’ head coach inexplicably declined the straightforward field‑goal attempt after stalling at the four‑yard line—a decision as confounding as the night itself.

  8. Would love to see someone model how Seattle and LA would have done had they lost the equivalent players the Niners lost. But no matter, the Niners have the view of what they need to do.

  9. Lynch really cannot draft worth a dam. New England only took 7 years to totally rebuild now in for yet another urn. How many for the 49ers ? Lynch cabn’t draft players that stay healthy,

  10. We need some sound tacklers with power and speed on all levels of the defense. We need another 4 silverbacks on the offensive line, powerful dudes who can hold that line and move great side to side. Give us a true slot receiver, someone with speed that can widen up the middle. Unleash Jordan James and The Hulk!

  11. We learned the Seahawks and Rams are superior at drafting compared to Kyle and Lynch. Drafting a third round kicker and blowing three first rounds on a pet project with no college body of work set us behind. It’s starts in the trenches. The rams ran the ball with success. That set up the throw to two all pro level WR. Using a three TE package punished the Seahawks for staying light. So there is that fact that Kyle uses the same stale shit.

  12. Don’t let the Seahawks winning distract you from the fact that Jimmy G has more conference championship appearances, and more Superbowl rings than the entire Seahawks franchise.

  13. So obvious OL Stafford had so much time. We couldn’t run on Seattle all season. Even last year that’s why we lost that Geno game. Need earth lovers and speed

  14. The lesson the 49ers will learn is that 2nd year HC McDonald and 49ers ex back QB Darnold or 1st year HC Vrabel with a rookie QB are going to win the Superbowl. Shanahan has had 9 years and failed to win. There's no excuses.

  15. Lessons? Wasnt there a show on lessons we could learn from LA after they won? When are they going to put this together?… The rosters they build year in and year out and now what?? No super bowls.. FFS 🤦🏻‍♂️

  16. I’m so sick of Kyle and his stubbornness. Go out and sign Tyler Linderbaum and address the offensive line. It is just as important if not more important than the Dline. Tired of weak interior play
