Today, after practice we had a chance to ask head coach Scott Arniel for an update on Pionk, Miller and Fleury. He indicated:

"Yeah, nobody's hitting the ice, yet. I think P might be coming on the trip, but I'm not sure if that's for him and Millsy, maybe, for medical, continuing to get the treatment. But I don't see anybody coming before the break."

  1. Let them heal and don’t rush them back.

    Realistically we are not making the playoffs so no need to jeopardize anyone’s health further.

  3. Remember at the beginning of the year when the last D spots seemed to be contested by a few different guys? Doesn’t that suggest our D depth is quite good? With scoring being an issue, I have confidence in our D to get the job done while we work on getting secondary scoring back up. Our top D guys will be back when they’re ready. I’m not too worried about the guys coming up.
