17. Chiefs will be better in 2026. A big factor how we do is Mahomes rehabbed knee. If Rice is not or is suspended that will be a determinate of how we do record wise. Obviously injuries or lack thereof will be key. How do our 2nd year rookies develop, contribution of our 1st year draft picks and new free agency players all will determine our season. I can't imagine we'll be worst than last year. I am prepared to be patient for the new run of the mahomes era. I do believe it could take until 2028 before we see another SB appearance. Mahomes will be 33. I just like to see Mahomes get at least 1 more ring before he retires, tying Montana and Bradshaw. 5 rings would be incredible, but it's a team accomplishment and 1 player can be instrumental but he needs some assistance from the team to get over the hump. Remember Brady never had a bad defense ever in his career. That's a luxury many QB's didn't have including Mahomes. If he had a decent D the first time he played Brady in the playoffs (instead he had a D that was dead last) he would already have 4 SB rings.

18. Patrick Mahomes can throw every pass that Sam Darnold threw in the AFC Conference Championship Game, but we do not have a receiver like JSN that can catch everything, including the one-handed catch. Our receivers kept dropping the ball, and that is the difference.

19. Chiefs fans talking crap about the teams that made the playoffs is hilarious considering they weren’t even good enough to come close to making the playoffs this year. Tells you how bad the Chiefs actually are. 😂

    The Bills franchise is a stumbling zombie of a franchise that has some vague echo of the thing it once was. Just a shambling husk wondering around like a Dawn of the Dead extra.

    A REAL defensive linemen with quick pressure tendency.

    Two playable offensive linemen backups and while not perfect that should really help us get back to top

25. This really is the golden age of Chiefs media.
    Once upon a time if you were outside of KC all you had was 5 minutes of ESPN and a low quality 18 page newspaper that came out once a month with mostly full on homer takes and training camp fluff pieces.
    To have 6 quality youtube channels and countless sites to go to now…..just spoiled.

30. If the chiefs can built a fresh and new team around Mahome's they'll be fine. The AFC wasn't that good this season . Man did the bills miss their chance. Chiefs are just at a point were they need a rebuild.
