The newest Miami Dolphin to have come from the Green Bay Packers along with Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley is strength and conditioning coach Todd Hunt. Hunt has spent the last two seasons in Green Bay and, before that, served on the Cincinnati Bengals staff from 2019 through 2023. In Green Bay, Hunt operated with a specialty focus on quarterbacks, running backs, tight ends, linebackers, and specialists. His exact role on the Dolphins’ new staff is yet to be determined.

“Everybody in the league grades a little bit different but the commonality is though buckets. The first bucket is ‘win because of’ starters, these are guys you can say “elite”, “high level”, whatever that is. That bucket is, every year, depending on the year, a smaller bucket. Below that is your ‘winning starters’, that bucket is a little bit bigger. And underneath that is your good role players, depth players, etc…whenever you’re in the first round, you’re trying to pick from that top bucket.”

    Remember 09/24/23
    70:20 against Denver, and if MMD hadn't refused, it would have been the biggest win in history. Where is Miami now, and Denver is almost in the Super Bowl a little over two years later (the loss in the championship game was certainly unnecessary).

    So why should things suddenly get better after decades? Yes, I'm a pessimist now.

  17. Nic no disrespect, but I must’ve asked a half a dozen times at least about who our strength and conditioning coach was and why he was still here after all our injuries!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😡🤬it is about time that we go in a different direction in regards to conditioning and injury prevention 😁

  22. Our Division rivals are all cold-weather teams. Smash mouth football is the answer. If not then we need to just trade with the colts and move to the AFC South and that isnt going to happen sooo….

  25. I'm not sure that you can blame the strength and conditioning coach, when our roster is filled with either undersized or injury prone players.
    Tua, Jackson and Phillips were all drafted broken, can you really point at the S &C coach and say that it was his fault that they were injured again?

  26. Experience is not as important as most people believe it is. For instance, does Mike McDaniel have FOUR years experience as a head coach with the Miami Dolphins, OR does Mike McDaniels have ONE year experience repeated four times? There is a difference, and if you don't understand that then you are most likely the one year repeated multiple times type of person.

  27. Chris Grier for some reason loved to sign injury prone players. Miami has a total lack of toughness. Look at Josh Allen taking a beating and still laying it on the line. Thats the kind of heart this team needs not guys who miss half the season over a stubbed toe.

I find it very interesting during our new GM interview he made quoted Steve Ross's comment that if he doesnt succeed its not because he doesnt have any resources necessary.Very interesting Mr Ross.If thats the case why in the hell do you not go and get proven leaders,Harbaugh,Tomlinn,Mcdermott and on and on..He's 85 years old,doesnt live in Florida,real estate developer!!!! Sale the franchise already to someone with a sports acumen or at least intellect!! SMDH!!!

I am 54 year old, I have blead Orange and Green or Saturdays, and Aqua and orange on Sundays my entire life… If the Dolphins don't draft at least 2 Miami Hurricanes from this incredible resilient and valiant canes team, I will no matter what happens stop being a Dolphins fan for the rest of my life, because I will know that the team doesn't care about our city, and about the types of people who are part of the U… They are from our communities in many cases, and they represent us much more than the QB from Alabama, and offensive tackle from USC ever will.

  36. 0 confidence, we need to boycott this team until they win or sell the team. Ross is the problem, he cuts corners and thinks he can buy his way to success. HORIBBLE decision making by him as the owner. even they way he fired Mike was pure classlessness

  40. Low hanging fruit to blame the S & C coach for the injuries. Look at the construction of the team, small, fast players who have prior injuries. Thats not his fault, thats poor team building and decision making in a physically demanding sport.
