Wow, those Fleer cards should be studied in graphic design courses as examples of “what not to do.”
The 95 Topps design is one of my favorites.

My little league consession stand sold those packs of Score and Collectors Choice for $1. I have so many of those sitting at home in a box

That was freshman year of college tho – was a little distracted. Also, my dad, who was a force, swore of baseball altogether after ‘94.
Such a disappointing year after the ‘93 ALCS and the ‘94 strike ending another season where they were one of the top teams in MLB. ‘95 was such a let down and it really didn’t get better until the surprise of the 2000 team.
I like it a lot, other than Sabo being there at all much less in the 4 hole
