Fuck these refs. The penalty to Cole didn’t happen, boarding to durzi uncalled, followed by a penalty to crouse again that didn’t happen. We played a great game against one of the best teams in the NHL and the refs gave Tampa a free win.
Maybe tomorrow we don’t give so many penalties to the other team.
I’m new to hockey but my only take recently is we have got to stop getting penalties. Can blame some on bad calls but not most.
FUCK THOSE REFS.
Toe to toe with one of the hottest teams in the league. Gave up one on back to back minor penalties and didn’t have any luck tonight on several really good chances against their all world goalie.
I’m not a huge moral victory fan, but we played really well overall and I’d go so far as to say we had the better overall scoring chances, which sounds stupid when we’ve lost and been shutout, I still think it’s true.
Strong defense effort and positives to be taken. We’re growing up and playing big boy hockey consistently.
Punching guys in the head and slamming them into the boards head-first gets you rewarded with a power play to win the game huh?
I wouldn’t necessarily blame the crew for the loss itself but we’re just going to disregard player safety and allow guys to get preventable injuries on some bullshit like that? Absolutely inexcusable.
This officiating crew can cram every bit of it up their fucking asses. Fucking abysmal officiating.
Truly awful officiating aside… why hasn’t Forsythe been fired yet? Having one of the worst PPs was one thing when we had one of the best PPKs, but we’ve been plummeting down the rankings on that stat lately.

Is it just me or does it seem like we’re always looking for a perfect tic-tac-toe power play goal to get setup before firing away on the PP?
Just checked the stats now that they’ve been updated. We started the game 29th in PP and 14th in PK, now 31st and 17th respectively. I remember our PK being 7th in the league about a month ago, too. Something has to change if we’re going to make the playoffs.
Can’t win ’em all, this was a tough matchup from the get go. Other than some lack of discipline I’m really happy with how the team played. I think Vasilevskiy stole this game from the Mammoth because they did more than enough to score 3+ goals imo. Veggie was really good but the special teams once again ended up being the downfall.
Bolts fan coming in peace. You guys played great. Refs were horrible. I hope the fans are feeling good about the clear improvement in structure and discipline. The talent is there.
