  2. Doesn't mean anything. Orelvis Martinez was going to be the next superstar until he got exposed at Triple-A. Travis Snyder was going to be the next George Brett until he wasn't. Trey Yesavage has to prove last September and October wasn't a fluke. He no longer has the element of surprise with his top-down arm angle. Big league hitters make adjustments. Trey has to do the same.

  4. Jays have good lineup atm..wait til trade deadline to see what you need…who knows Tiedamann could be your lefty late inning guy with a chance to start in 2027..at trade deadline focus on Mason Miller and Garrett Cleavinger(L)

  5. I don’t know why people think Toronto done great this offseason it’s ok but they didn’t do as much as Baltimore done, and now bo is gone so how are they competing with the dodgers they are not in my opinion

  7. Jays need to sell high on their prospects since they have the financial resources to sign top players.
    Yesavage is a unicorn.
    There is no guarantees when it comes to prospects.
    Would rather trade Tiedemann in a package with Juan Sanchez for Mason Miller (ranked no.1 closer), whom the SD Padres gave up the no.3 overall MLB prospect for, instead of hoping Tiedemann is a success in the bullpen.
    Jays are in a win-now position.

  8. We say we haven't had a good prospect since Vlad, yet they extended Kirk; Manoah almost won CY; and Moreno/Martin/Horowitz got us Varsho/Berrios/Gimenez.
    There were the Chapman and Hicks trades too.

    That's decent activity from the farm over the last 4-5 years.

    Oh, and how could I forget Barger? The way he's treated here, it's almost hilarious to act like the farm doesn't produce. Personally, I think he's average, at best – but most people around here think he's an touchable superstar ; but either way he's farm produced.

    Davis Schnieder too. Not everyone needs to be a prospect.

  9. DON'T turn Tieds into a reliever unless he proves otherwise. DON'T!
    Remember when the fanbase had thought their genius identified the Jays have a need in the bullpen because the stat sheet told them so last fall – and you all wanted Yesa to be a reliever? What happened when he started?
    DON'T turn Tieds to a reliever – bring him along carefully to be the next up starter. The team will need him at one point.

  10. What doesn’t get talked about enough is how Bo carried us in the regular season. Vladdy wasn’t great until the playoffs. We really needed him or Tucker in the lineup. If Springer doesn’t have a similar season I’m. It sure this team wins the division. When the Yankees get Cole back they will be better. We need an elite bat. Also Varsho is a Boras client and we won’t resign him.

  14. If there is a work stoppage these exciting prospects will continue to develop while players with hefty contracts play golf. This could be a very good reason to resist overpaying age 30+ players in the open market.

  17. I don’t understand why people think the offence will be worse. They lost Bo and that’s it. Springer is the only player that likely dips. Santander hit 44 bombs before a injury season last year he will improve, Barger and Clement have shown improvement, Okamoto is going to be better than a lot think and their pitching is much better. Red Sox haven’t done much, Yankees did Nothing and orioles have good lineup but no pitching close to Jays or Yanks

  19. Making a video about prospects is fine but you are way out of bounds with your framing, " next superstar", "the real deal", four prospects being big league ready this year. You have little to no reason to say any of this stuff, way too premature and overly optimistic.

  20. Regardless of his average to below-average defense at 3rd, I would love to see the Jays sign Eugenio Suarez for the added power bat. Yes, they have Santander and both are prone to strike outs, but each could put up 30+ HRs (maybe 40 if history speaks) and with such a potent batter order they could be protected allowing for greater possibilities. Thoughts?

  28. Jojos and nimmalas rankings mean absolutely nothing to me. I’ve seen many top end short stop prospects turn into dirt.

    Every team has a short stop in their top 10, hardly any of them will be impact players.

    JoJo and nimmala are trading chips for me
