I had thought about this before and… Hell no. It has nothing to do with Konnor. It has to do with CJ's lack of offensive ability. He cannot get on base enough to be enough of an upgrade to give up much for. You have to be sure you can fix that. I believe your take on CJ is way off. I rather run with Jared who is near as good if not better than CJ in every other way than his power.
I have feeling with this long wait they will feel emboldened to do a major splash. That splash may be catastrophic. Litterally trading the farm for a surface level star. Hoping for positive short term results but guaranteed losing long term and future.
There was the missing curfew because of being at a casino at end of 2024.
CJ’s defense is questionable. Some Nats followers want to move him to 2b.
There are some complaints about CJs inconsistency at the plate. I think that just happens to lots of players.

Say, how about you do an evaluation like this on a trade for Josh Jung since he is RH. Include Bart in the deal and NO Seth Hernandez…Dotel?
Good show, Gary. Have a great time tomorrow!
You had me at 25/40!
My offer for Abrams- Harrington, Valdez and Johnson
He's a head case, and has missed meetings, and I think, missed, or was late to a game ….. seems like an underachiever, and his head wasn't into playing his best for a losing team …. ? I say this, because my Braves play them a lot …. and recall that info I relate was from info from our broadcasters, as we played them during a series, or two this past season ….. I think they've had enough of him, and ready to move on, despite all of the positives you mentioned ….. possibly been looking for an internal replacement, and felt like they have found one ?
Hernandez is off limits in any deal.
What would they do with wyatt sanford, and sammy stafura then are they giving up on their possible evolution
