3. DAY 436 (1039/539) on THE ROAD TO THE 2026 6TH WBSC-MLB WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC – Onwards to the 2026 Banana Ball and Cosmic Baseball Leagues Seasons

   Congrats to Nolan Arenado for his renewed WBC commitment!

   Just a month from now, the Banana Ball Championship League – formerly the now five year old Banana Ball World Tour – will begin its new season full of excitement and entertainment, while keeping alight the spirit of the sport and the league’s headquarters, now century old Grayson Stadium in Savannah.

   Jayson Arendt’s appearances on American Idol may continue to raise the profile of the league even more, given how much its 4th year was even above expectations, having won even more supporters across the world and that alone would convince Jessie Cole to hire Jose Benitez to the broadcasting team to serve a now growing fanbase in Latin America and Spain, as well as in the Spanish communities in the USA and Canada, in preparation for possible international league games in the coming years.

   The fact that this league is already expanding its player rosters with two Australians in its six teams this year as well as the milestone number of sold out gamedays this year is proof of its growing fame and popularity. Expect that a number of MLB veterans will be featured all season long.

   A month from now, the young Cosmic Baseball League based out of Colonial Heights will begin spring training for its sophomore season. This new outfit of just two teams, unique for its nighttime form of the sport, prepares for its second year full of expectations with more stadiums added to its season calendar for this year.

   These two barnstorming organizations taking the sport by storm deserve all our support.

4. Any other nerds bothered by the fact that Baseball Reference hasn’t updated their 2026, 2027, 2028, etc. HOF ballots yet?

5. T-MOBILE USERS:

   I am going to be switching phone service in the next few months but before I do I wanted to see if T-Mobile still offered MLB.tv for free, at least for the foreseeable future.

   And if it does, does that version of it include the MLB network channel? Or would I at least have the option to pay for it separately on the same account if I’m getting MLB.tv through T-Mobile?
