  1. Sometimes I wonder if Quebec's history doesn't keep making us hope for a Saviour instead of just working hard and being patient and building a Championship team.

  2. Montembault
    Kapanen
    Struble
    ( + pick if needed )

    For

    Binnington
    Brayden Schenn

( would pay more if we could get a Holloway or Toropchenko )

Then trade for Luke Schenn from Winnipeg for RD depth

    Done with Monty & Struble

    & Kapanen is not a 2C

  3. Give me this in Fall 2027 and I’m pretty happy:

    Voronkov-Suzi-CC
    Slaf-Kap-Demi
    Zharovsky-Danault-Hage
    Bolduc-Evans-Florian

    Guhle-Dobson
    Hutson-Reinbacher
    Matheson-Arber

    Fowler
    Dobes

  4. I think Hage is going to have issues with his size in the NHL. I see him playing a year in the AHL for sure. Zarofsky? I see him able to jump right to the NHL, he's thin too but he has a year of high level pro experience and he hasn't been getting killed.

  5. Boston is not coming on. That is not a good team. They were bailed out by power plays and bad goaltending. Outside of Geekie and Pastrnak, there is a shocking lack of talent there.

  6. For Hage Zharovsky Reinbacher and others coming through the system, they’ll find it more difficult to get ice time especially on the PP. While it may be tempting to sacrifice prospects and picks to accelerate the rebuild, let’s try to remember this has short circuited a number of other rebuilds. Patience is a virtue!

  7. I’ve watched Hage closely since he was drafted. He’s a great talent who possesses explosive skating, great offensive vision and an NHL level shot. That being said he needs to add mass from stamina to be truly effective at the NHL level. Half a year in the AHL would be beneficial to this young player’s development.

  8. Agreed. Zharovsky is a fine talent but he’s not in Demidov’s class . That’s hardly an indictment of this kid’s potential. But Demidov is largely in a class of his own.
