But more importantly, shoutout to Will Klein for acknowledging and actively speaking out on the ongoing issues we are facing right now.

It’s already been 3 months since the last man in the bullpen threw 4 scoreless innings and saved the day!

  1. Of course there are SO many other guys who stepped up throughout the game:

Freddie Freeman, who has been clutch throughout his career, decided it’s FINALLY time for everyone to go home!

Shohei with an incredible day at the plate, going 4-4, with 2 homers in which the second one tied the game, and reached on base all (NINE!!) times in all 9 plate appearances on this night!

All the bullpen guys did their job (except one), holding the Jays scoreless throughout the extra innings, and keeping the game tied.

Tommy Edman, after he made a bad error in the 4th inning, made 2 spectacular throws to get the runner out in both the 9th and 10th inning.

And SHOUTOUT to Will Smith, who had to catch for all (EIGHTEEN!!) innings while still having to hit!

  2. What ongoing issues, we signed Diaz, Tucker and are the back to back champs!!! This is a Baseball Sub right!?!?! Keep it that way…..

  3. He certainly saved the day, won a sport in eternal Dodger folklore and probably won’t be on the MLB roster at the start of the season…

  4. The way he fielded that comebacker was so cold. Will Klein is forever etched in Dodgers lore.

  5. This series was unbelievable.

Goddamn imagine being on the other side of that. It would be so infuriating to be playing as well as the Jays were and get fucked by the literal last possible pitcher the other team has left, one you haven’t really heard of, and not really that great on paper, pitching beyond his typical pitch count, and absolutely destroying your guys while pulling off shit like catching laser comebacks.

Also I fucking love keek’s hyping him up in the dugout. This one and right after his throw to rojas.

  6. man he was throwing gas that game with great movement. I was wondering where that guy was the second half of the season where we blew so many saves.

  7. I will never forget “Unbelievable stuff from Will Klein!” It lives in my head rent free like “Gibby, meet Freddie!”

  8. This was my favorite story of the WS. I just love it when an end of bench type of guy steps up and cements themselves in club lore.

  9. Looking forward to seeing Will THE THRILL and Wrobo step up this year……goddammit I need baseball to start NOW
