  1. To be clear: no team has ever had defensemen score hat-tricks in back-to-back games? It sounds as if it should be very rare, but incredible that it has never happened.

  2. Watching from near Coliseum Station.
This is just what the league needs. Third time returning Cup contenders,
whose D-core gets into a hat-trick arms race. What's this talk, Cats won't make it to The Dance?
And Kulak, watching this on his couch, thinking: Why didn't I think of that?

  3. I honestly didn't know Ekholm could do that. That first goal was incredible, what tape was he watching while injured to learn that? What the hell?

  4. U got one thing wrong. The last time an oiler d got a hat trick was Marc Andre Bergeron on 2006. The last time an oilers d got 6 points was Paul Coffey

  5. You're right, Eck, I got to watch most of both of these games, which is rare, and they were super entertaining. And I don't know what has happened to Bouchard recently. I read an article in The Atlantic the other day and they showed–with stats as evidence–that he has better overall 5 on 5 numbers this year than Cale Makar and Lane Hutson.
