  1. I understand that question from TJ and I would’ve preferred Kubiak. But all signs point to Kubiak staying and who would the next best option be? McCarthy or Stefanski. Either one was going to have questions

  2. As a Browns fan ill never forgive Stefanski for making an injured Baker Mayfield with a bum shoulder throw the ball 60 times against the steelers and not double teaming or chipping TJ Watt once. All while pulling Nick Chubb off the field after every run that was over 7 yards.

  3. Hot Take—I personally think the Falcons will blow it up. New HC, new GM, but also new President and new CEO! A Rich McKay-less operation meaning a total shift. They also don’t have a QB or a first round pick.

  4. Nah, I'm not trying to hear this revisionist history about what a good coach he was, in a bad situation, after watching him trot his wife and daughter out to defend the Watson move. What about all the ridiculous penalties, late game collapses, and failure at developing any QB under his watch says "HELL YEAH, SIGN ME UP!"?

  5. I'm old enough to have been a Falcons fan since the days of Steve Bartkoski and William Andrews. I have to say (And I think I speak for the majority of the fanbase here) WE ARE NOT happy with this selection. How do you fire a coach who has been a part of a Superbowl wining organization, after only 2 yrs and had double the number of wins as the new HC in the same amount of time. Not only that but bring him into a culture that is still ground zero of the "House that Deion built" who's son everyone believes was victimize by the same said HC. Make it make sense. I have zero faith in a turn around next season, and the biggest tragedy is that we have probably the best young team in the franchise's history and will more than likely see the team dismantled or careers destroyed because of lack of opportunity to develop. I wish someone would call me and get my opinion. I'm just getting started

  6. D. Orlando Ledbetter is not considered the "Dean" of anything in Atlanta except butchering the Kings English and asking tge dumbest questions possible.

  7. According to Google there has been 537 recognized head coaches in the history of the NFL, and only 13 have won coach of the year two times or more. Stefanski is one of those 13. You can maybe argue him getting it once is a fluke, or he was being graded on a curve because it's the Browns. The second time he won it though Nick Chubb had a season ending injury in week two, Baker was injured, and Stefanski coached the Browns to the playoffs with an old Joe Flacco. He's proven he can compete even when he's short handed, but he can't overcome the Jimmy Haslam nuking the franchise

  8. So, tell me what new coaches have winning records with their previous teams. Most winning coaches aren't getting fired. Well, except this yr with Harbough and McDermott
