Thinking to go to Padres v. Giants on Monday, March 16, with my son and friends.
Hoping to hear from anyone who went last year. Do the games sell out? What are the odds of picking up tickets on the cheap if I wait till the day of? Any other tips for saving money? Thanks in advance.

Tickets are pretty muc always available because Peoria is away from the more popular locations ie old town, riverview, salt river or camelback ranch.
As long as they aren’t playing the cubs/dodgers you should be good picking up tickets day of.
That being said, I would buy early to make sure you get shade seats. AZ sun is no joke even if it isn’t 105 out.
I went to a weekday match last March that was sparsely attended, like my row next to the dugout was half full.
I bought directly from the website so I can get right next to the dug out.
my son got a foul ball from one of the ushers. great time.
you can get tickets at the venue, unless it’s the duuuuuhgers, any other game is available
Don’t pre buy tickets. Buy the cheapest tickets available and by the 3rd inning you can sit almost anywhere you want for most games.
I’ve been going every year for the past couple years and we’ve always been able to buy tickets when we’re there with no problem getting good seats. Only real game we had issues with space was when they played Seattle, since it’s their Spring Training stadium as well.
