I would say the offense has been a failure for 4 years.
Stop trying to pend Mosley’s impending firing on Paolo
Fork found in kitchen 🤯
Wasn’t this obvious at the start of the season when Paolo gave the non-answer about his thoughts on Mosley’s changes? I think Mosley has to go now since the team heavily invested in the core players.
Mosely is upset with Paolo not being able to shoot.
Paolo is upset with Mosely’s offense being “give the ball the Paolo and get out of the way.”
Right now they are basically the meme of the two mirror-image Spidermen pointing at each other.
water is wet
Mosley was supposed to be a defensive guy and the one thing I have consistently seen is crappy defense and lackadaisical play from many players getting back on defense. Lots of open shots and anyone can drive to the hoop with little fear of getting fouled hard. The team doesn’t hustle, and isn’t physical enough. At some point that falls on the coach. It is time for a change

of course they aren’t seeing eye to eye, Paolo is two inches taller
I’m gonna need to see the full quote, Tim has not posted anything on Twitter. Dunk Central are know agitators.
The leaks are starting.
What’s that saying about where there’s smoke there’s something else?
That’s obvious
I literally posted this link in my thread earlier and got downvoted 🤣
Tonight might be his last game as the coach. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel!
mosely was a good coach for getting the magic relevant again, but he is not the coach that unlocks Paolo and the rest of this roaster…Paolo, Franz, Bane, Suggs are all ready for a nba championship level coach and can fully unlock their potential
I stg if we pick Moseley over Paolo as a franchise we are so cooked
I like Mosley, reallllly liked him last two years. But his time is up. Once you lose the locker room, it’s almost impossible to get it back. We can’t trade Paolo, who may be a generational talent. Go back and watch our playoff highlights from last two years. Paolo was our most consistent player. His game elevates in those situations and we can’t give up on him yet. A fresh voice and clear direction is how I think we can salvage the rest of the season. Then we bring in a top caliber guy like Malone, or a strong assistant like Cassel, Quinn, Nori next year. Hope we can get healthy, stay healthy, turn this around and stabilize ASAP.
Mose isnt the guy for the job every game we win is usually because overall talent not because of coaching. You can only preach effort and defense so much before its clear that you dont actually have a gameplan when that isnt enough to win games.
No shit?
iso player doesnt get along with system coach… shocker!
Coach Mose makes zero adjustments. Offense is not hitting shots maybe try Jett and give him a few shots to see if he’s hot that game. But don’t wait until your down 30 points! Donavan Mitchell js lighting us up; trap him or run 2 at him and force someone else to beat you. Mose makes zero adjustments until the team is down by 30.
Exhaust all your resources so you can authentically say you’ve tried everything
Crucial: The report goes back to November. Since then, the team has fallen apart. If we are losing, playing horrible defense, playing completely uninspired, and the team isn’t listening for anymore, why is Mosely still here? What am I missing?
yeah Paulo’s offense is a problem, and not for the other team.
There were rumblings of this early in the season and I think there is enough smoke to be concerned about a fire here.
Don’t know if they ever did
Mosley brings nothing to the table. They don’t make adjustments, the players don’t really care for him, and most importantly they remain a fringe playoff team on a down year for the East.
He has to go, and it has to be now so they can still try to save this season.
Paolo is already giving “not a winning player” vibes
Makes sense. Its physically impossible from the picture
water is wet
The perfect scenario would be to fire Mosely and trade Banchero, but that will not happen at once.
Id say fire Mosely, get some new blood in there to fire up the troops and then move Banchero in the offseason.
Bringing Paolo into this like he’s the bad guy – he’s fed up having a bottom tier offense with a mediocre coach – that easy. Moseley got to go
