1. I have a question Doug. I know the Mike McDaniel era is over. But why was he so set to bring Zach Wilson here. Pre draft his weakness was anticipation throws and processing the field. Traits essential for playing in McDaniel's office.

2. I watched that whole interview with the new coach and came away loving the guy. I believe he was sincere. When he said we are not gonna be a soft team. We are gonna run the ball and if the he other team knows it… We will run it anyway and they can't stop us. That's the team I want.

5. I wonder if going from top 10 to 30th in true pass pro might've had something to do with Stroud "regressing?" You can't divorce QB play from the line's ability to pass protect down after down (though that doesn't stop fans/media from doing it anyway). This past season Miami was worst in the league in allowing fast pressure on the QB (play/drive killers) and were also dead last in their true pass sets. Over the last decade we've been at the bottom of the league in pass protection. If we don't fix this, it doesn't matter who we bring in at QB. Based on some of their comments, I think the new regime sees this (if the Miami press and half the fans don't want to acknowledge it for some bewildering reason)…time will tell.

7. (IMO)Hafley doesnt have the name, pictures shown werent promising to see a winning coach, franchise coach, etc. None of that matters. What does, are his words (for now). He is making me like him more, the more he speaks! And we deserve that. Now, coaching matters, wins matter. So time will tell, but he is winning me over.

13. I think I would let him compete with whoever is your guy or I would do the Omar thing and put him on IR for season, then trade him in 2027 when its cheaper and givers you more valu. Why I would tell him to increase his value and we will do what helps both parties long term. Next year is a build year even if we are not saying we are tanking the level of players is going to look like we are tanking worse case scenario, best case is probably same record as this year. Tua as a backup seems smarter you save money and put Tua in a spot were he can increase his valu thru out the league.

15. Man that is the smartest thing I ever herd a NFL head coach say, watch the film in the last game of the season when we tell them things dont matter. Great coaches are the ones who do that.

Tua should not do the dolphins any favors by restructuring his contract if the dolphins want to keep him or to facilitate a trade IE converting base salary to signing bonus to lower the cap .Have a clean break and he wants to be cut and released asap. He can go start else somewhere next season as there is a shortage of starting QB in the league. . It’s a dead man’s walking for him next season as the team will not be good anyway and they will be looking to move off him after 2026.

17. Its head coach..gm..Great defense. You dont need a top 5 qb to win a sb with those 3 ingredients.

I don't care anymore these Head Coaches need to show me wins a 9-8 or better 1st year to truly trust them regardless of roster or cap, AFC East Titles give us 2 in 5 years, playoff wins at least 2 with an AFC Championship Game appearance in the next 5 years. I am sick of mediocrity and this regime better get it done. But, I still say with Ross and his family as owner the dysfunction will continue and remain. Cautiously optimistic. GO DOLPHINS!

22. Color me skeptical after 25 years of utter organizational incompetence. Talk is cheap and a lot these coaches are fluent in “coach speak”.

23. Sean made a mistake..I can see in hindsight why Sean did it. He is aggressive and saw that the defense was holding maye and the pats. But broncos made it far with paying russ… plus bo is definitely a good clutch qb

24. I was a Tua supporter early on BUT it is beyond time for both parties to get a fresh start.
