Imagine helmets had horns on them. Someone is losing an eye, quite possibly intentionally.

the crossover of my fandoms I didn’t know I needed
Too much red. We are a blue team first, a white team second, and only wear red as an accent or a mistake (the cursed jerseys).
Otherwise, yeah that’s Skattebo
went to a kirby pop up exhibit downtown a few months ago. was hoping to see this but wasn’t there unfortunately (lot of cool stuff though). i think prints/shirts might be available through his website
Without looking it up, did this predate the team’s use of the “NY” logo? I feel like it did, which would make this its first use, no?

Jack Kirby is the man. In case anyone hasn’t heard the legendary story, one time some bigots showed up at his office to try to intimidate him. The secretary called to let him know and he just said “I’ll be right down.” They ran away before he could get down the stairs
