MLB Network’s Top 10 Starting Pitchers

  1. I don’t like Crochet below Wheeler or Sale at all. I feel like this is merely a list based off of ERA. Crochet had 11 more wins, almost ONE HUNDRED more strikeouts than Sale and was only .01 off of his ERA. Better WHIP, too. Not to mention those guys are far more likely to fail in repeating their good seasons due to their age and health — especially Wheeler. Crochet is very obviously the third best pitcher in baseball.

  2. Future dodger?

If it’s the Yankees yall would hate it..

Hope he somehow stays with Detroit for a while.

  3. Not a Yankees fan by any means but how is a injured Wheeler on the list but but not an injured Cole ?

  4. So let me get this straight Yamamoto is the 7th best pitcher in MLB after a pitching his ass off in the playoffs and most importantly the WS. Not only vs the Jays but dude was solid vs the Yankees too. Dude should be 4th at best

  5. I have Wheeler in a keeper league and am assuming he isn’t giving me much in 2026 if I keep him. Am I wrong to assume that based on this list? That injury is no joke.

  6. The world series MVP with 3 WS wins, one being a complete game. Which was his second complete game in the post. #7? Okay.

  7. Why am I not surprised Framber didn’t make the list. Love him, head case but love him. Better than brown (minus his 5-7 game yearly mental slide). Consistency matters. This is a great list

  8. The Yamamoto glaze is going too far if people are saying #7 is disrespectful when he literally just finished #7 in fWAR last year.

Disrespect is Logan Webb not even cracking the top 10 when he’s consistently been a top 10ish SP for the last 3 seasons now.

I wouldn’t fault anyone for having Yamamoto anywhere between 5-8 after some order of Skubal, Skenes, Crochet and Sanchez.
