If the Red Sox don’t land Eugenio Suárez in free agency and can’t find another bat, they could easily circle back and make another run at Marte.”

“They haven’t been close on a deal involving Duran yet, but that could change during spring training. The Astros could be a good match, as they don’t have an obvious spot for Isaac Paredes to play this season now that they have Carlos Correa, and Houston needs outfield upgrades.”

  22. I think it's possible Breslow is going to make another trade and it's likely going to be for someone not even talked about. Marte and Abrams are likely going to be to costly

  23. N. P. No more trades, as the Sox are now in a desperate situation and the trade price will be too high. Option 1: Give up the golden glove. Rafaela to 2b; Mayer to 3b. Maybe Rafaela‘s batting average will improve if he sticks to one field position. Option 2: sign Suarez and accept the poor defense for home runs. Will bet his home run total will be higher than opposing team runs allowed due to errors.
