  1. Mackinnon is slowing down earlier this season than he usually does. He will probably finish 3rd or 4th in scoring, and the avs are certainly coming back to earth.

  3. Avs definitely coming back down to earth. Mackinnon sill scoreless in 4 games.

    Olympic break can't come any sooner.

    Olofsson on top line is atrocious and bednar don't know how to adapt.

    Cmac better be making some trades already.

    Having colton toews landy out shows the lack of depth the avs have.

  4. Have the Avs players already left for the Olympics. Seems like tonight they have. MacKinnon was a minus 3. Makar was a minus 2.
    Necas was a minus 3.

  5. Ollofson needs to get off the top line!!! My god there is no chemistry with him Marty and Mack. Toews needs to come back so bad… I like Malinski but he is not a top pair guy. Cale has to do soooo much more on the defensive side which showed tonight. He was incredible but the box score will show -2 which doesnt paint the true picture. Landy come back soon =(

  6. Can the Avs find a goalie that can stop a break or partial break? I'd be interested to see what percentage our goalies have versus the rest if the league on breakaways. Ours have to be less than 50%, whereas the rest of the league seems to be 75% or higher when facing the Avs.

  7. They are a dumb team. They try to pass the puck in traffic. It gets intercepted. They turn it over on a rush. In their zone. In the other zone. The goalie Blackwood sucks right now. He's got to sit the pine. Landeskog is out and that is hurting the team. It's bad right now.
