1. Let’s not forget the lucky part is John wanted to keep both DK and Geno and if we would have we would’ve been in Cancun right now. Thank God DK and Geno wanted out. Just imagine the storylines if they wanted to stay. I’m just a couch GM I wanted DK and Geno gone no matter what does that qualify me to be a GM? Same with Pete I thought we were 4 year overdue of letting him go. With Russell it happened the same year I wanted him gone lol. Just saying.

17. I was lucky enough to visit the hawks practice facility back in peak Russ superbowl era and got my ball signed by a bunch of players but crucially also by John. He was probably the happiest to talk with fans, ask their names, friendly and energetic. I'll never forget the imprint that left on me. my GOAT.
