This still makes me nervous considering that he’s never called plays and look what we just went through with KP… I do have more confidence in him than KP because he’s played the game, can see the field through Jalen’s eyes and like you said Mike, Andy Reid was in the same position as him and Andy is a genius play caller!! We’ll see. Go Birds 🦅

  14. It’s kind of a lose lose for the eagles tho. If he’s not good a play calling it’s a bad hire. If he’s great then he’s leaving for a HC job

  26. The real wake up call needs to be to our fans who HAVE TO ACKNOWLEDGE their BEHAVIOR has turned off so many other great candidates because nobody with experience is willing to move here only to have their house EGGED over play calls.
    Pete Carrol called a passed on the 1 yard line instead of having it off to Beastmode to win the SB.
    If that happened in Philly he would have been literally lynched down Broad street but he just kept coaching in Seattle and Beastmode was let go.

  27. Kevin Patullo learned under Shane Steichen and Kellen Moore who are both 2 of the best play callers in the league. So let’s not act like KP did not have a great resume and all the required experience to be good.

  30. I like the hire. I remember watching him play for Oregon state. Always love having former QBs call plays! Brings a different perspective that you can't teach!!
