Vladdy after his injury!!!
Facts. The camera bulbs flashing behind him look amazing.
I’ll get downvoted to hell, I recognize this is borderline blasphemy, but in an effort to accept your challenge:
Sakic -> Bourque was pretty incredible television for hockey fans across the league.
There isn’t one.
The new cup presentation sucks by comparison. The fireworks are so corny. Less is more, NHL.
NO ARGUMENT HERE
Been a Wings fan for almost 40 years, but Ovie lifting the cup was pretty fuckin awesome.
Now in 2026, I can say that looks like an AI generated video haha. It’s just too fucking perfect

My personal favorite is 06 when Brindamour tore it out of Bettman’s hands and took off
Which cup was this??
[I don’t care if it is Sacrilege](https://imgur.com/kFmnxxn), it’s Ray.

In addition to Gordie, the HOCKEY G.O.A.T.

I like Yzermans more, but I always thought the composition of the Pietrangelo photo here was immaculate
I was in the Navy and stationed on a Royal Air Force Base (a real one, not one the US bases over there). I had no way to watch the SCF where I lived, so I kept getting a room in the Air Force Inn at RAF Lakenheath (a US base that had Armed Forces Network tv). I did that on my days off, and I took leave on the days that I was scheduled to work on a game day. I had to actually book a room each time because the games came on at like 1:30am with the time change. I managed to see every game and see Stevie finally lift the cup. I was glad they didn’t waste time going 6 or 7 games. Lol
Uhh…the shot of Dylan Larkin lifting it in June of 2026? Hello?
Oh sorry, I forgot I was from the future.
