  7. Bears are getting absolutely screwed here in not receiving any picks. Matt Ryan and others have already said the GM will have full roster control, so it's a promotion for Ian, yet the league says the new title created by the Falcons is the decision maker. Just total BS by the league and goes against why they even created this policy 5 years

  9. We aren't getting the picks. he won't be the decision maker. Matt Ryan will be so we don't get anything. i would suspect the bears actually move to have to challenge it via the NFL or sue about it.

In 2021, the NFL started to award teams two third-round selections if they had minority front office personnel or coaches take on head coach or GM roles (Cunningham is Black). However, the policy pertains to the head coach or the primary football executive, which in this case is Ryan.”

  33. Ryan is not the team President yo, Greg Beadles still is. Falcons .ade a new role for Ryan called "President of Football" and in that role Ryan will have the final call on all Cunninghams decisions and will have to sign off on them. Technically making Ryan the final decision maker not Cunningham and that technicality conveniently allows the Falcons to avoid the Rooney rule. So yah we aint gettin 🤬 basically.

Because poles and Matt Ryan and Cunningham are good friends, we could possibly have a friendly trading partner! We saw lots of trades with the Bills in the last draft. Good for poles to be able to build these relationships so we can get trades done. Also, is Darnell Mooney still on the falcons? Wonder how he feels

  36. There is no need for “sources”. The source is NFL 2020 resolution JC-2A. The candidate has to be hired as Head Coach or Primary Football Executive. The words General Manager or roster control are nowhere in the regulation. Ryan is their PFE, so no picks. Maybe people who cover the team for a living could take a couple minutes to read the regulations pertaining to the team.
