What’s really funny is three of the top five scorers in the league are American and none of them are going to the Olympics…. Larkin likely breaks 30 as well. Outside chance Raymond gets to 30, but he’d need to go on a tear. 12 in 27 isnt impossible but is difficult. At the rate he’s been going lately 40 might happen soon. Didn’t Raymond hit 40 a few years back after he went on a tear towards the end of the season Hey Siri… “How do I cancel a jinx”? Funny how number 3 and 4 are not on the US Olympic team either… How many goals did Hossa get adjusted for inflation? I’m afraid he might have used up the remainder of his luck on that final goal last night. Relatedly, we haven’t had a 50-goal scorer since 1994 when both Fedorov and Sheppard did it. He got 39 last year so he was so close. We’ve desperately needed an ace scorer for so long now. He missed it by 1 last season so he’s due for a 40+ season.
