
Remember when Shai was sitting nearly every fourth quarter in these games? The strength of the schedule was not extremely tough in terms of opponents, but we absolutely steamrolled most of these teams in our first 20 games. This is what this team was doing when healthy. How many of those were above .500 at the time or shit even now
They were locked in here. I think they were mentally and physically/strategically prepared to play without Dub. It wasn’t a shock to the system like a mid-season injury. Aside from Houston on the first night this was not a super tough stretch for various reasons. We started the season with 90% health but 100% confidence but still hungry.
Also, the one L to Portland was on the second night of a back to back with a 9pm tipoff.
Look at those teams though lol.
