Good grief Corbin. What the heck. Ticket fees. Oh boy. 🙂
Good for them. Cheap ass owners aren’t trying to sign players now they finessing fans what a terrible look on them
This has always been a thing. Ticketmaster and Pearl Jam had major beef over this. Isn't this normal?
This is so ironic considering they have one of if not the most expensive ticket prices in baseball and that the front office for the past several years at least have not really completely told the truth to the fans.
Keep up the good work as always, Corbin!
Fenway Sports Group really should sell the team.
If you look at any other country the ultimate goal is to play for and represent your country. But somehow in America that is not the case. I love the WBC
This ownership group is crooked, shocking….
I stopped going to games and I'll never pay for Nesn.
I'm waiting for the suit one year to come out about False advertising to sell tickets, each year the Sox say they are going to do things (like sign a #2 starter, and add a power bat and bring back a star player) and they don't and they do this to get people to buy tickets. Sooner or later someone is going to call them on that and that would be more interesting than the fees. They can easily get around the fees by dropping that and just building them into the cost of the ticket. Then they would be all set. The WBC is great but maybe they should wait until the end of the season to have it. I mean how would you be feeling if Crochett were playing for the American team and we lost him for a good portion of the season? With how spring training ramps up the players slowly and how the WBC just has them running full steam it is not a good scenario for the players to be in. Thanks for letting us know about this suite as I haven't seen anything about it at all. You are a wealth of knowledge
They claim that they're competing for a championship. That is absolutely a false advertisement
This is another unfortunate bad mark against ownership. Hopefully this will at least end in fees being lowered although that seems unlikely. I'm ok with everyone playing in the WBC it's good for the game but everyone has to stay injury free. ⚾🤞
This is where we find out if the Sox invested more money in their legal defense instead of the one on the field…
It looks like the fee credit card companies charge the vendor. Massachusetts often charges the same type of fees.
My grandson is shattered over this news that the Sox might charge hidden or deceptive fees. Prior to this he believed the FSG owned the Sox purely for the love of the game. I figure the FSG figures what an additional $7.50 per ticket I mean while you have your wallet out, why not… Kinda like the Tolle roads the would prefer you just hold out you wallet as you drive by and they will take their fair share. On the WBC McAdams put it correctly I worry about a pitcher gets caught up in the completion and over extends themselves before their ready. I worry about Whitlock given his struggles staying healthy.
What is the profit margin for selling tickets,
food, parking, air, breathing
I haven’t even finished listening to this podcast yet and I just started thinking I’d like to try out Trayce Thompson again this year. I think we should give him a shot again.
Yes, you gotta be careful with shit like that that’s happened to me with other stuff. I hate those fees and another thing too when they say that you cannot return your ticket like if you all of a sudden can’t go like I learned this the hard way for something different than a baseball game, but they will put fake information on your paystub and stuff and when they go to ask for your information, you won’t know the information because what they put in is fake so that in itself won’t allow you to cancel they’ll use your bank information but everything else will be fake and if you don’t know that other information for security reasons you’re screwed I actually happen to catch them on this one time and I got my money back
Yeah, I don’t doubt Henry sends one of his assistance down with a suit and tie to pay off one of the judges in Cash large bills only
Now if only they could get sued for not reinvesting enough of those funds in the team
🤞no one gets hurt in the WBC
This Organization just finds every way possible to screw over the little man. They've been robbing fans blind and lying to their faces for years. FSG is one big False Advertisement.
