  1. I hope for the best for him.

But, man, releasing a mini series documentary and never actually making it back to the bigs would only give people even more ammo to work with to clown him

  2. If done right, this can be a touching and thoughtful glimpse into the world of fading atheletes, and the psychology behind adapting to not being good at things one’s previously excelled in—plus the added potential that he finds his way back on a team and has one more moment in the sun before hangs it up.

If done wrong, it could be a self-indulgent hype video trying to convince the world he’s something that everyone knows he isn’t.

I hope it’s the former, but TA didn’t always excel at PR messaging type stuff. I think it all boils down to how self aware he is as an athlete. Will be interesting to see what direction this takes.

  3. Refresh my memory but did it really start declining after the Jose Ramirez fight? I feel like he was dealing with some off the field family stuff well before that and that seems to be more tied into his decline

  4. Does his wife still make him pasta before the games or did she leave him after the baby momma incident(s)?
