New comp for a Griffin deal — Athletics, Jacob Wilson Agree To Extension (7/$70M)

That’s a steal for the A’s

The comp for a Griffin deal starts with Roman Anthony IMO. If ownership / FO really believes in him we need to offer him 10 years $180M and hope he takes the sure thing. A true Pirates window starts with a Griffin extension and a Skenes trade with a Soto-esque return.
If the Athletics can sign all their guys to long contracts I dont get why we cant do it with Skenes. What a steal for them though. Hope they can pay Kurtz too
