2. No team is dumb enough to give Panarin what he wants.

3. Hughes has already said he isn't going to trade for anyone over 30

4. As a hab fan, we don't want kadri, but we would take thomas

5. If the Wings are going to spend a lot of capital for a player, I think it's more likely to be a defenseman. Their top pair might be the best in the league, but the rest of their blueliners are below average for their roles. And there aren't great answers in free agency this offseason.

6. Isn't the going rate for Kadri at 50% retention a cap dump, a B level prospect, and a 2nd?

8. I don't think the best version of Hage is as a center in the NHL, so I wouldn't be afraid of blocking him out of that position…I would be afraid of relying on him being the long term 2C, however

14. detroit is the most likly destination for thomas,they are willing to trade their top picks and prospects,montreal on the other hand wants to hold onto theirs while trying to slip you some injured prone players and low level picks so detroit if the blues do trade thomas most likly will be a redwing

15. Hoping The Islanders stay away from the bread man. Don’t want to give a 34 year old a 50 million contract for 4 years. More so giving draft picks or young assets that will come back to haunt the Islanders against their rivals. Islanders desperately need scoring. Kyrou makes more sense but is having an awful year! Not interested in getting a player that has possibly lost his mojo. It would cost the Islanders the Avs first round pick, Eiserman. And some other pick or player. Kyrou does have age and a manageable contract. Would Darche turn to Stamkos with the Tampa Bay connection.? Darche should not be in a rush to sell off 1 st round picks or prospects but has publicly said he would deal a first round if it made sense. Sounds like Darche is not done yet. Only if Lee is traded would I consider Stamkos. Whatever Darche does it should be no more than Avs 1 st, Shabanov, , a Defensive prospect or a 2027 pick. Of course Eiserman might be in play. Darche will know better after the next 4 games.
