In this video, we discuss the Carolina Panthers’ recent 16-14 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 18. There’s a lot of talk about the team’s lack of execution and calls for better coaching, with some even suggesting the game was nfl rigged due to bad referee calls. This week’s nfl news has definitely been buzzing about the implications for the team’s future in nfl football.

  1. I'm just happy we had a better season than last year. Also I bought some Sunday Funday shirts from Queen and Cotton using your discount code, one for me and one for my son!

  2. This would’ve been a win if the refs were fair. Panthers could’ve ran better and played a lil better for sure. But This was One of, or probably the Worst officiated game I’ve ever seen. Sad to see

  3. Imo…Bryce is our Franchise QB!!! We have talent on both sides of the ball…Problem with our Team CAROLINA PANTHERS is not the Team.. ITS ALL COACHING,GAME PLANNING,PLAYING CALLING,PREPARATION going all the way back last 2 yrs preseason scoring less than 20pts total not giving 1st twam enough reps.. Canales is not it!! Lets go hunting

  4. Not only is Canales a TERRIBLE playcaller… he is also incapable of calling out the refs for blatant missed/questionable calls! I'm done with Dave.

  5. We had a lot of opportunities to win that game apart from the officiating, too many small mistakes in crucial areas…I will say I thought Bryce looked more like a leader in that second half and continued to rally despite all the momentum killers from the refs.

  6. I think he scared to open the play book scared we would make alot of turn overs. I just want this season to officially be over and done…. this team is stressful. I'm going to shout out thank god when falcons lose……

  7. 4:00 My question why wasn’t the flag thrown immediately when the ref thought that T-Mac committed the OPI penalty? The flag didn’t come out until after he caught the ball 30 yards downfield. And how is it pass interference when the ball hadn’t been thrown yet?

  8. 12:00 On that flea-flicker play, wasn’t there a gaping hole in the line when Rico turned away from it to slip and fumble the ball? And yes, unlike what you said Rico fumbled the ball back to Bryce and Bryce failed to jump on the ball. Bryce didn’t fumble it.
That was just a stupid play call, an incredibly dumb idea to do.

  9. If im going to be 100, the Panthers, despite how bad they seemed to play, really scarped and fought this entire game, yea there were some bad plays, yea the officiating was atrocious, worse I've seen since that 2016 super bowl, and to only lose by 2? I think that's what's really irritating.
If the panthers had gotten blown out everybody would be like 'This is still a young team, they weren't ready for this moment yet'
But to go into Tampa, loose by 2 in the way that we lost?! Yea, Tampa didn't win the game, Carolina just had help loosing it

  10. You have to run the ball in the rain. But referees control the outcome in every game. They can throw a flag on any play (or not). Pretty sure they want Tampa in the playoffs. Look for the Saints to win today on a marginal call.

  11. You lost me after you said “Officiating is not the reason they lost” when it absolutely is. And I’m not one to usually blame the refs for a loss. Sure maybe they could have gotten off to a better start but when they did start to get momentum, the refs took all of that away.

  12. Jv level coaching. Also what in the world is Chuba doing warming up for 3 hr. pre-kick off and using wrong cleats the entire time? Garbage everyone.

  13. The game came down to the refs not how good the player where playing, truly horrendous officiating but we shouldn't expect anything different from the nfl

  14. Baker Mayfield had more rushing yards than both of our running backs combined, and officiating was horrible. I was at that game yesterday. It was very wet, and Dave called a flea flicker in the red zone with a slippery ass ball. That T-Mac catch that was called back would’ve at least given us 3 points and the win. I fully believe that.

  15. Regardless of whether or not we "should have won" other games, this does not excuse the blatantly egregious errors that the refs made on several occasions. The OPI can be argued, because T-Mac did actually shove the guy out of the way (though the defender may have oversold it, still, we would want it called if it were the other way around). Yes, it was inside of 5 yards, but there's still a limit to what a player can and cannot do. The "out of bounds" pass… um…. did I miss something? Do I need a new TV? Are my eyes that bad that I thought the solid white line was the OOB mark? True, Rico didn't have the ball, and it could have been a bigger disaster if the Bucs had been the one to get control of it in that situation after he'd bobbled it, but that's not the point. The refs blew it dead and "out of bounds", which was a clear fuck up. The helmet getting ripped off of Tremble was a clear sign that the refs were against us as well. If they simply weren't looking that way it's still no excuse because they have enough refs on the field as to not miss something like that if they are doing their jobs correctly. That DPI was arguable on both sides, because the WR was already starting to trip, but our guy never looked back at the ball to try and make a play on it.

There were two horrible calls that killed productive drives for CAR, and just because they "should have won" other games and "put themselves in this position", the rules do not change, and this does not mean that when they get screwed into an L that it makes it right. GB and LA "should have" beat us, but they didn't, and their position has suffered because of it. Captain Hindsight and his 3 trusty companions, "Shoulda", "Coulda", and "Woulda" are sarcastic parodies for a reason.

  16. Bruh we didn't lay an egg the bucks cheated the game was rigged against us we should have absolutely won this game but it was rigged for some unknown reason you can't blame us when the refs are making such a egregious calls.

  17. I love that you used the word "Redonkulous" in describing this game. That made the whole video. I havent used that word since the late 90's, maybe early 00's. Brings back memories

  18. I have more questions about Canales than Bryce. Dude is supposed to be an offensive coach and he literally can’t call a clean game and he’s just failed to have this team ready multiple multiple times this year

  19. coaching cost us the game, clear and obvious..canales needs to give up playcalling duties and get someone in that can consistently call a good game.
