Yep called it. We are in a good place with our youth and shouldn’t half hazardly extend random players without knowing they fit. Renting is where were at right now.

There are two ways to take this, and they would drastically change my view on Verbeek. Either he shut down an extension period, in which case, fire him now, or shut down THEIR extension, which good on him. Him acquiring rentals at the deadline this year should be a fireable offense.
It is good to hear players talking about wanting to come to the team. Unfortunately, Panarin also wants the big payday.

I’m glad, because we’ve got to sign Leo, Cutter, Zelly, and Minty this offseason.
Trouba, Gudas, Moore, Harkins, Viel, Johnston, and Poehling are also all on expiring contracts.
Gonna be an interesting offseason.
