  1. That third round pick trade to Atlanta for bates would work for me! Poles has been terrible drafting in the third round! I'd also like for him to sign Hendrickson and draft Caleb Banks if he falls to 25!!

  2. That would be a bad decision to trade for bates … he’s a good player but he’s aging and overpaid. Trading for him would prevent them from signing Byard. They’re not going to pay $30 million for the safety position.

  3. Some day Saturday morning inspection will be hired by some team to do these smart moves and we will be naked in the dark on Mr. Doom with no Samwise to carry us. Love you man.

  4. Nah Man I Definitely don’t agree with many of your Thoughts!!
Getting Rid of Kmet would be Stupidity we Need 2 TE and Kmet is a Excellent Blocker with Great Hands and Talent, not many TE can do better than Kmet at TE
Plus Byard and Brisker should remain on the Roster,
get Rid of DJ he’s a Good Player definitely not worth 28 Million or Whatever Ridiculous money he’s making that gives us that much more Money and honestly I think Sweat is a Waste of Money for what 7 sack a year
2024 he looked Great Since then he’s been a Joke

  5. Stupid move. Trade a 3rd round pick for a safety making $14m. Just use the pick on a top tier safety in the draft. Much cheaper and you lock him up for 4 years. The simulator said it’s likely because it’s an overpay. Maybe a fourth.

  6. I still don't understand why focus on the secondary so much. The Bears gave up a lot of yards and points but also lead the league in takeaways and INTs. You can say that the secondary was getting torched all season but that was because quarterbacks were allowed to start a campfire and sing kumbaya in the pocket. Johnson was injured so I think it's a little premature to say he's a bust. He didn't look any better than Kyler Gordon did and they both were plagued by injuries so why Jaylon? Wanna pressure opposing QBs? Fix the D-line. Wanna slow down opponents' run game? Fix the D-line. If we want to look like the Bears of old then let's go ahead and burn up our cap space on the secondary and see little to no change in the defensive performance. The offense is very young and very talented so most of the decision making can be made on the defense this offseason but I would put the secondary further down the list of needs and focus on the defensive front four.

  7. Thoughts on the Bears not getting comp picks for Cunningham getting hired as GM by the Falcons? Seems like the Bears are getting screwed off a technicality.

  8. I would be beyond shocked if the Bears traded for a safety that's earning $14m and will need an extension when they've already said they want to re-sign Kevin Byard and have needs along the defensive line and, unfortunately, at LT.
