He has 14 goals, 29 points in 55 games as a 21 year old C. I think he’s far and away raised his ceiling, unfortunately for Toronto.

MLSE corporate policy should be that their GM is not allowed to speak with the Bruins. They are way too smart and tough for the Leafs to deal with on or off the ice.

How is our pro scouting so bad, constantly not properly evaluating what we have in the minors as well as overvaluing the other NHLers that we end up acquiring. This isn’t just under Trieliving, it happened prior to him as well.
Few months ago idiots on here were saying this trade wasn’t that bad because Minten only had 8 goals or something. He would be the Leafs’ 2C in like 2-3 years
Have the Leafs won single trade with Boston?

I called it last year. Said we let a good one go and someone who could be a significant power forward up front for next 10-15 years. Carlo was worth a 2nd or 3rd and considerations
Watching him on the Blades WHL team as much as I have living here I was absolutely PISSED OFF AS FUCK Tre moved him seeing what he can do. He would’ve solved several issues we’re facing in years going forward but nah the Leafs gonna be Leafy. Fuckin love this team thanks to Cujo and Belfour sending Bowen & Ralph’s excitement through the roof but ARGH.
Question for anyone more knowledgeable than I. While trying to remove bias, with all stats available are we generally last/lose in trades we make league wide?
Obviously some trades we win, some we lose but we seem to make the wrong decisions non-stop. If Shanahan let Dubas have full control of our team, I’d like to think our line-up would be better off but we’ll never know because Shanny didn’t let Dubas do what he would like. The way we hemorrhaged picks for rental’s was 100% a Shanny idea. We’ll be absolutely toast yet again.
He should have been off limits. What a fucking set back
I’m a Minten fan regardless of what went down with the leafs. I was excited for him on our team and I’m still excited for him now. Hope he keeps it rolling, fun player to watch
