  1. Question for you fellas, I asked of Pierre in more depth on Tony's Sick podcast. Why didn't we see Hutson and Dobson paired earlier than now? I had my own thoughts that they were at odds with each other when paired early in the season.😮

  2. Funny how the talk about Dobes being sent down/traded/sat, has completely been wiped from the collective memory here and elsewhere. The narrative that was being pushed was that we have to give with the #1, that we're still in a rebuild, don't expect success right now, we need to trade for a goalie, POOF! Gone. It was driving my sensible Libra balanced mind insane! Ride Dobes like a rented mule. Nobody cares if he's a rookie. He's a professional hockey player. He's a big boy, he can handle it. Dryden was a rookie in '71. He's in the hall of fame. Let the big dog eat.

  3. If Slaf ever starts hitting and deliver solid body checks,he could be our team mvp,for some reason,he refuses to hit oppents dispite being our most physically dominant player

  4. Danault.. The prospect of the Stretch and Playoff looking likely.. Living in Edmonton…. History of Truth is obvious evidence of watching his work he brought to the table versus McDavid ect. Guns out here.. Hasn't been Vocalized Yet really appreciated yet.. It's coming watch this..🎉

  5. What a neat, cool, awesome, amazing stat, that C.C. has or is ready to play on Saturday nights. Growing up in Alberta, I waited all week for Saturday night, to watch (hopefully if Taranna Maple Leaves weren’t force fed to us westerners) the Montreal Canadiens on HNIC… and here is Cole, performing like he has the whole country watching… loves it!!

  6. Finally, our defense shaped up and played well for most of the game and Doby was great! Can they keep it going? They have to keep riding Doby as long as he keeps playing winning hockey. If Kirby can stay healthy and keep contributing points this season, I would re-sign him.

  7. You guys fail to mention how well he played in Decemeber. When most were lumping Monty's bad performances with him, Dobes was 4-2-1 with a 2.30 GAA and a save pct of .907 He has performed well most of the year, its when MSL announced that Monty was going to remain the starter after his blazing October start. Dobes problems began with MSL being stubborn and stupid leaving Monty as the number one, when Dobes was CLEARLY outplaying him. Just think where this team would be in the standings had Dobes been rightfully named the number one in November!

  8. Gally’s value off-ice can’t be measured on the stats sheet… I agree, he definitely doesn’t need to play every single game, especially when Newhook and Laine get back, but his grit and leadership will likely be useful come playoff time. Enough with the hate.

  9. Dobeš should play both games. He's clearly our #1 and Monty is clearly a back up and should be treated as such. They're going to have a 3 week break. There's no reason to rest Dobeš.

  10. As a Canadiens fan and a team Canada fan, I truly appreciate the gesture from Bill Guerin on keeping Caufield and Hutson off team USA. 🎉🎉🎉

If it means having more rested Caufield and Hutson for MTL to finish the season… great!! If it also means not facing these two for team Canada, also great. I don’t want to have to “hate” these two at any moment.

I know some will say, its great experience for them to play with top players, and I get it, but they will get their chance next time, after Caufield wins a rocket Richard and Hutson wins a Norris 😜.

  11. If the USA don't win the gold medal in Milan, imagine how Caufield will be pumped to shove it to Guerin by scoring 50 goals….It's a WIN-WIN for us
