Nice Video!
I understand the lineup balancing, but I really dislike the idea of such a strikeout prone hitter in story batting second. Otherwise, this seems realistic given the current roster
Atta boy jack!

I generally agree with you however I still think another trade is going to be made before opening day but we have no idea what the plan is? As usual we'll see what happens 🤞⚾
Story 6 or 7. Low obp. Live with a lefty-heavy top of the lineup.
1) I really don't think Romy is the odd one out, he's a utility player with a great bat and that has value on our bench.
2) I really think Roman needs to be in the 2 hole, and put Duran at the 1. I like Duran at the 3 but Contreras should be batting behind Anthony to protect him, plus it gives Anthony better opportunities to drive in runs with Duran in front of him than Rafaela. Here's my lineup, and I think DH should be a revolving door for these outfielders to give them a rest day from the field.
1) Duran DH
2) Anthony
3) Contreras
4) Abreu
5) Story
6) Mayer
7) Narvaez
8) Gonzalez
9) Rafaela
I would agree with you on not caring about having too many lefties in the lineup, but since we play 81 games at fenway you have put the monster into consideration. Righty pull hitters flourish here for obvious reasons. It also forces a pitcher not to get too comfortable in a certain pitch sequence. Pitchers will use certain pitches against righties, and shelve it for a different pitch on lefties. Maybe a guy has one k pitch working, but his k pitch for righties isn't there that day
There’s so many variations. I thought this looked cool.
1. Duran LF
2. Mayer 3B
3. Anthony DH
4. Contreras 1B
5. Story SS
6. Abreu RF
7. Narvaez C
8. Campbell 2B
9.Rafaela CF
This lineup, no matter how configured, is incredibly weak. No Bregman. No Alonso. No Schwarber. They could still improve it vastly by signing Eugenio Suarez, but they won't do that either because ownership is cheap and doesn't care.
Less than a 100 games
Weak lineup any way you slice it.
