With the win tonight, the Ducks have more points than both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. There are still 27 games to play this year.

Additionally, our last 10 games has been "pushed a number over" from the last 10 of the 2022-23 season so to speak. We've come a damn long way in just a few years.

And 17 home games out of the 27.
6 more wins to match our win total from last season & 19pts to match the point total.
Playoffs or bust!
My guess is we finish somewhere in the 90-95 pt range, hopefully still in that wild card slot.
Q is amazing
also shows some parity in the league. crazy sj had 47 pts when this year every team is already beating that total except vancouver at 42
50 regulation losses is so abysmal lol
Eakins and Cronin got us Leo and Bucket🫡
-129 goal differential was so sad to watch lol
While I like the 2-1-0 point system for league parity, the teams have taken the piss for too long and simply play to get to OT far too often. While the Ducks may have more losses, the NHL is probably the only sport where you can have the most wins in your division and be out of the playoffs or a wildcard lol. Irks me that the now wildcard Ducks have 4 more wins than the first place Knights.
It is what it is but it’s an eyesore on this amazing sport where you just have to make playoffs and you still have a decent shot to win it all. If they made it 3-2-1 or 2-0 point systems, teams would fizzle out further from the deadline and we might see fewer teams becoming last minute sellers
