Does anyone have the same career path as Eugenio Suarez?
February 2, 2026
Tigers -> Reds -> Mariners -> Diamondbacks -> Mariners -> Reds
I found it interesting so I wander whether there's a player in MLB history with the same pattern
Team A -> Team B -> Team C -> Team B -> Team A

I wish the Mariners would of signed him, but in all fairness, he was absolutely shit at-bat even in the playoffs, except for being super clutch during that grand salami.
I just hope the Mariners know what they’re doing.
Raúl Ibañez went Mariners/Royals but with extra steps
I can’t think of one, but this idea reminds me of RIckey Henderson going back to Oakland three times after being traded to the Yankees, looking like he’d retire there all three times — the third time at age-39 or -40 — and went to something like five more teams before actually retiring just after that fourth stint in Oakland.
Maybe, but no one has the luxurious locks that Suarez has
Luis Arraez can somehow relate
What about that Braves pitcher? I forget his name.
Wouldn’t it be B,C,D,C,B? With Detroit being A?
Dennis Schroder… lol
Zach Grienke comes to mind, but I don’t think he played for Milwaukee again.
Alls I gotta say is Jesse Chavez Edwin Jackson and Dick Hill
feels like baseball nostalgia speedrunning.
but he hasn’t gone back to team A
i hope he goes to the tigers before retirement. complete the reverse loop.
