The Denver Nuggets Cannot Beat the Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder matched up with the Nuggets for the first time since game 7 of the semifinals last season. And while there were significant players missing from both sides, by and large, this game looked a lot like that one.

  1. When you are a racist it never ends well for you 😂 cap attack is a hypocrite, even worse than Lebron fanboys because hes racist on top of it.

  2. Oh, come on! Did you watch the game? They keep changing defenders on him, and everyone who guards Jokic plays the dirtiest defense possible, while the referees allow it. On the other hand, if anyone touches FTA, it’s a foul.

  3. Yeah, I know SKAP here is secretly a big thunder fan. He says he’s not but he has to be because this is one regular season NBA game by hit by this standard. I’m not even gonna watch this video. I paused it before I even watched it because I know it’s just gonna be more telling us how great Oklahoma City is they played about as good as you could possibly play. I knew Denver was gonna lose this game because jokers rusty. He was rusty against the Clippers the other night even though he had good stats. If you watched it, he was rusty. He hasn’t played in a month. Denver is missing basically their whole starting Lineup and they still only lost by 10 in Oklahoma City played literally as good as they could possibly play they played at their absolute peak and they won by 10 points and there was stretches in this game where Denver had a chance to win this game despite how bad they played when Denver gets their guys back like I said they will beat this team, but they gotta have their players when they get Cam Johnson Christian Brown, Aaron Gordon back I don’t even think it would be much of a series. I honestly believe they would beat OKC in five or six games if they have all their guns, healthy and jokers back into the game jokers Rusty right now you can see it. You could see it against the Clippers. I don’t know anybody couldn’t see that give it another week or two and watch what Denver looks like when their players start to come back never make a big deal about one regular season game in the NBA they mean less than nothing. I’ve watched basketball since the early 80s one regular season game literally couldn’t mean more than nothing than this game meant nothing because by this standard than the Charlotte Hornets are gonna win the NBA title because they’re running around blowing all the good teams out, so are they gonna win the title? Is that his philosophy on that?

  4. If Jokic wasn't injured when he put his form at the highest and if AG could be healthy they would destroy OKC, doesn't need CB and Cam, but Jokic was injured and AG is still, hopefully till the end of the season Jokic will return in form and AG will be healthy. Jamal Murray's percentage was 18% which is the worst ever I would say, Murray had assistance because Jokic hit and Jokic doesn't because Murrey miss it's that simple

  5. People call joker a cone but he is the best defender on that squad he is ranked 10th in defensive rating this year, his team is awfuk in guarding the 3 point line all the time idk how many blow bys or open 3s they left to the thunder when they where down 4 in the 3rd jamal gave 4 open 3s to cason wallace IN A ROW! 4 from 4 balloned to 16 points and that was ball game. They thought a minutes restricted joker was going to bail them out but he is still coming back into shape. Also coach adelman got wrecked on Xs and Os while in the 2nd quarter adelmans sat watson, murray, joker and the thunder had their all star out and that is whem the thunder got their mojo on offense, also the starting line up why have spencer jones at pf he could of build his own twin tower and put joker at pf and val at C and had zeke naji come off the bench so they coukd of battled okcs small lineup. Easy defense okc has on denver take out murray one one on one luo dort is enough and then thats when they can clamp down on joker and triple or double team. Can they figure out okc? they got 3 more games to figure it out everything falls on murray which in my opinion is the huge difference with okc and the wolves and spurs is that those teams have two guards who can cook and clamp sga, castle and ant man give it to them jamal shrinks and disappears when he cant create separation and leaves joker on his own you need to
Play close to perfect with okc they have everything at their disposal the nba refs and a great team.

  6. I agree mostly with you but I do still think there is some good possible defensive lineups for playoffs against OKC could be Bruce brown at pg, then Ag, Payton Watson, Jokic, and Big Val at the five I think this line up would give many of the players on OKC a big issue

  7. Starting line-up of Jokic, Val, Gordon, Watson and Jamal at the point. If they go bigger, I think they would do better against them. Hardaway, Spencer, Brown and Braun off the bench

  8. This is an insane overreaction to 1 game where Cason Wallace had a career night and Jamal Murray and Tim Hardaway Jr went 1-12 from three on mostly very clean looks. These teams split in the regular season last year and went 7 in the playoff (all despite Denver having key injuries in all 11 games). Let’s maybe wait to see their other matchups this year…

  9. You dude except that Denver should’ve won that series in five or six games last year right like I said they won game one they went up to one teams that do that usually win the series they were on the brink of going up 31 up nine points in the fourth quarter of game four they should’ve won gained five. It’s like you’re watching something that we’re not watching they could beat that team. I don’t know why you think that team is so great Oklahoma City. I don’t understand it. I just don’t understand it. It’s like you’re seeing something that everybody else isn’t seen.

  10. OKC just win because they was lucky from 3points and Jokic play half minutes. I still don't like OKC because they make so much uncall fouls, because they all hiting and shoving opponents refs don't know how to call all that. They all shove into Jokic 30 times per game, he can get the ball before they foul him first, but refs don't call it, they call them elite defenders, what is bullshit.

  11. I seem to remember a 7 game series less than a year ago.

People acting like OKC rolled through people last year. They were in back and forth 7 game series throughout the playoffs.

  12. I just looked it up. SKAP they’re 10 and 10 versus each other over the last 20 games so I don’t know like I said I don’t know what you’re watching that you don’t think Denver can beat them. They should’ve won that series last year with nothing they had nothing Michael Porter Junior was a shell of himself 10 and 10 versus each other. I don’t understand what the glaze for Oklahoma City is I don’t they are going to be a one and done and Gilgeous-Alexander is not the second best player in the NBA there’s no GM in this lead that would take him over Giannis or Luca nobody I repeat nobody or Cooper Flagg and Cooper Flagg’s just getting started if SGA retired right now within five years, most people would not even remember who he was. I’ve seen 100 players that can play like him. He’s no better than Joe Dumars, Terry Cummings guys like that and I don’t want you to go dig up their stats and say they didn’t average as many points as him this is a different league now where he’s on a team where he shoots all the shots and he gets a shit ton of free throws if you took them free throws away from that guy he’d be nobody teams have basically just started not even guarding him because you can’t guard the guy because if you’ve guard him, you’re gonna get a foul called so they’ve just basically started letting him score 10 10 SKAP that’s your super team that Denver can’t beat they’re 10 and 10 versus each other over the last 20.

  13. Match up matter bc I'm convinced that the nuggets could beat the spurs but I think a reallly lock in spurs team could beat okc 4 times out of 7 but the nuggets
Can't beat the okc 4 times out of 7

  14. Outlier shooting game from OKC really. They haven't shot the ball that well all year. Braun played Shai well Last season, and jokic was, if you watched the game, a little hampered. That was an extremity of OKC's greatness, and admittedly they are the best team in the league, but you can't write off the Nuggets and especially Nikola GOATic that easily.
