  1. I've been saying we need to trade for Kwan since we lost out on Tucker. I like Lukes, but I'd rather have trusted reliability over potential repeat of a small sample size.

  3. Jojo Romero's ERA was 2.07 because only 3 of the 26 baserunners he left on scored. If that rate was league average his ERA would have been 3.50. His WHIP and k/rate are average. His walk rate is high. He is a soft contact guy. Ableit not as good as Rogers

  5. At this point, the Jays are fine tuning. I really hope they make a a serious offer for free agent middle infielder Luis Rengifo. Rengifo is coming off an underwhelming 2025, but in '22, 23 and 2024 he was one of the Angels most productive players, playing mostly third. Entering his age 29 season, I feel Rengifo could easily be the strong side platoon at either second or third with some serious buy low upside

  6. If the Jays were to make a major trade I can see one with Cleveland based on their trading history.

    Not long ago the Jays traded for Giminez to play SS in case Bo left for free agency.

    Same thing for Springer and Varsho potentially leaving next season, the Jays could target Kwan to hit lead-off and CF and they have players that Cleveland would be interested in since they have a similar roster construction.

    On a side note, I believe the Jays were seriously in on Emmanuel Clase before his gambling indictment, and had he not make that error in judgement, the Jays could have been World Series champs!

  8. Everyone stop trying to get rid of Berrios. He isn't going anywhere unless Jays take back an equally bad contract or sweeten the pot with a lot. 10-15 million cash and Nimmala is about what it would take just to get Berrios' value to zero.

  11. If anything Jays would go after Kwan around the trade deadline if needed because of injury or terrible performance by Santander.
    Another scenario is Jays signed Kwan in the next off season rather then Varsho.

  14. 10000% they should sign Valdez and they would instantly be. Top 5 rotation . They need to compete with Bostons pitching . Then they should trade Luke’s or Davis , with some good prospects for a closer.

  18. It’s not gunna cost Yesavage for Kwan lol. Thats maybe what they’ll push for , but they won’t get it. You can prob get Kwan for Luke’s, and a couple good draft prospects . King and someone else?

  19. Abreu is someone else to keep an eye on. Jays need a closer, and one more bat. I don’t think they’ll add another bat until deadline, but they need another elite bulpen arm asap!!!!

  20. I love the jays but I can’t wait till the fire Atkins chants come . I really don’t think this team will be good enough, he failed to get us a top free agent and loss Bo. To many things have to go right for the jays to be good this year. We forget besides this year how badly we wanted him gone. I hope I’m wrong, and this team is really good. I don’t think they’ll be awful, but I think they will fight for a wild card spot. I don’t see this current team a World Series contender . However , if we can get a closer, and 1 more impact bat then yes.

  27. I don’t think there will be any major trades until the Jays get to see what they have; Spring training and perhaps a month or two into the season. What the Jays seem to have is a glut of outfielders. What seems to be missing is a good late inning bullpen arm; preferably a leftie. Haha, you just mentioned Jordan Romero.
