🚨BREAKING: The Falcons Just Got GREAT NEWS From The NFL | NFL Salary Cap Increase
The Atlanta Falcons just got great news from the NFL! The NFL’s projected cap space for the 2026 NFL football season is projected to be over $300 million dollars for each NFL franchise. Visit https://prizepicks.onelink.me/LME0/CLNS and use code CLNS and get $50 in lineups when you play your first $5 lineup! The Falcons are also projected to hit at least $28 million in cap space after getting the Kirk Cousins contract off the books and available free agency spending. Falcons Today host Trace Moustakas explains how Atlanta can get to near $50 million in cap space, depending on how aggressive they’d want to be in pursuing players like David Njoku and cutting players like Darnell Mooney.

PFF on Falcons Free Agency
“The Falcons will have to gauge whether or not to re-sign multiple important free agents like Kyle Pitts, Kaden Elliss and David Onyemata. If Pitts — the No. 1 tight end on the market — gets priced out of Atlanta, then a Njoku reunion with new head coach Kevin Stefanski would make sense. The 2025 season was a down one for Njoku with a 55.9 overall PFF grade and only 1.06 yards per route run. But from 2021 onward, his 73.9 PFF receiving grade ranks 14th among qualified tight ends, and his 6.0 yards after the catch per reception is third. Njoku would help replicate Pitts’ field-stretching skillset and be a natural fit in Stefanski’s offense.”

Should the Falcons sign David Njoku in free agency? Type ‘S’ for Sign ‘P’ for Pass
Keep Charlie Warner
So sign a 30 TE with knee issues like our QB?
I want to know why Tyler #25 isn't a priority? What if #7 goes down for a minute you never know We need him & he's proven & durable Franchise tag him.
I am good with everything you said except Cb. Unless you can replace Phillips with a better Cb.
Who you gonna replace Mooney with??? I like Mooney and what he brings.
I would like to see the Falcons snag a decent receiver in free agency
"P" we can get a younger cheaper TE in the draft
S
TE and right and left tackles and good legitimate wide receiver….and a line backers
I would love to get a CB to go with AJ
S…. two set tight end…. need a big D line nose guard…for the middle as well
There's too much wr depth in the draft to keep pitts or mooney
S
Njoku, Injury prone. Lot of time off the field. Down in production. Cleveland wants to rid him in a trade. Pitts stays on the field and is still a threat. No Do Not Sign Njoku. PPPPP
Keep Ellis hands down!
Hopefully we'll be able to keep Tyler Allgeier with this increase. We also MUST keep Kaden Ellis.
Keep Charlie Woerner
Keep Pitts, Keep Woerner… we don’t need Njoku.
Mooney can go too, he can’t hold on to the ball.
does this not happen ever year??
P drafting a TE is an option you mentioned in earlier podcast i e VanderbiltTE you highlighted. Rookie cheaper than veteran.
I feel like Clark Phillips just never got his chance. He’s been a beast in college and even last year had some bright moments. But with cobee Bryant’s emerging presence I can see why we cut Phillips. Maybe we can use him in a trade piece who knows. But he was one of my fav picks from his draft class, just never got his chance
Draft wr and linemen, tag Pitts
s with him and Pitts like you said Moose awesome duo GO FALCONS

Gronk/Hernandez
We should trade Michael Penix, Tyler Algeir & Kyle Pitts to a team for a QB and a TE, we have the skill players to be a top team, we just need a QB
Tag Pitts, resign Kaden Ellis
Sign, we need a tight end that can catch and block
ARE YOU INSANE ABOUT NJOKU, HE IS TOO OLD AND NOT MUCH TALENT. JUST BECAUSE HE IS AVAILABLE DOESN'T MEAN HE SHOULD COME HERE. SIGN PITTS THEN TRADE HIM TO MIAMI FOR A HIGH PICK! OR SOMEONE PLEASE WORK ON PITTS CONCENTRATION AND ROUTE RUNNING, AND HE COULD BE SUPER GREAT! NO 1 HAS EVER GOTTEN INTO PITTS HEAD ABOUT RUNNING ROUTES AND CONCENTRATING ON CATCHING EVERY BALL HE SHOULD BE CATCHING. I HATE PITTS AT TIMES, BUT HIS TRUE TALENT HA NOT BEEN FOUND YET! LOOK AT PITTS SPEED, UNMATCHED IN THE NFL. LOOK AT HIS HEIGHT, UNMATCHED IN NFL. LASTLY LOOK AT THE UNTAPPED TALENT IN PITTS? WE HAVEN'T HAD A GREAT TE COACH IN AGES, LETS GET 1! NEXT DANGLE BIJON TO THE RAIDER'S FOR 3 NUMBER 1'S AND PENIX TO DRAFT MENDOZA. BIJAN WILL JUST MAINTAIN A 6 TO 8 WIN SEASON WITH NO GOOD TO GREAT QB, SO WHY WASTE HIS TALENT OVER THE NEXT 2-3 YEARS WITH NO QB? RAIDER'S COULD PEDDLE JEANTY TO THE CHIEFS FOR THEIR NUMBER 1 MAYBE? BIJON AND PENIX TO THE RAIDER'S WOULD SELL A TON OF TICKETS. THEY MOST LIKELY WOULDN'T DO IT, BUT THE FALCON'S COULD TRY, WHAT WOULD IT HURT? IN 2 YEARS WE WON'T BE ABLE TO AFFORD TO RE-SIGN BIJON AND HAVE NO SUPERBOWL OVER THE NEXT 2 YEARS. AT LEAST IF WE GOT MENDOZA IN 2 YEARS WE COULD BE IN A SUPERBOWL, LIKE DRAKE MAYE IS? IF WE KEEP BIJON, HE WILL NOT BE ANY MORE VALUABLE NOW THEN IS HE RIGHT NOW. I BET WE COULD GET 3 NUMBER 1'S FOR BIJON AND PENIX AND MAYBE A LITTLE MORE HELP TO THEM? LETS GIVE IT A TRY?
We already have a TE with Pitts skill set. Joshua Simon
