Devils’ Jack Hughes speaks for 1st time since injury – from Sweep the Deck

Per Sam Kasan, Jack Hughes on his health: “I feel good. Just taking it day by day and seeing how I feel.”
Hughes said the goal is to be back before Olympics.
“Obviously, that’s the goal. I’d like to be (back). It’s day by day. It’s seeing how I feel each day.”
Trade him for Brady and pinto
Hey Jack, what’s more important right now, trying to turn things around for the Devils and make the playoffs, or playing for 3 weeks in the Olympics?
Some of you with your obnoxious takes and comments aren’t going to be happy until you run this guy (and his brother) out of town, he finds himself on another team, healthy and scoring 100 points. Am I frustrated by his injuries? Of course! Who isn’t?! Am I ready to give up on him, trade him and kick start a brand new re-build right now? No. The Olympic discourse is out of hand. He’s day to day. There are literally days until the break. Not much anyone can do. Hopefully he’s feeling good enough to play in these last two games, if not I’m not going to crucify the guy for feeling good enough to play in the Olympics over a week from now. I’d feel the same about Timo, Nico, Bratt, Nemec.
He’s probably looking forward to playing on a good team for a change.
2:25 “Honestly I have nothing to say to them(Devils fans)” Ohhh boy.
