20. see i appreciate people going after backlund right away, but im sorry when a guy punches your goalie in the head when he's in a vulnerable spot and can't protect himself…that cannot be over and done with after one scrum. If I'm the coach or anybody wearing a letter im telling everyone their duty for the rest of the season is to throw the heaviest legal check you can at Backlund anytime he touches a puck. His number goes on the bulletin board before every game against calgary. He needs to get filled in so often that he's terrified to touch a puck while playing the leafs. the fact that there's not 2 mins of highlights of backlund eating the ice and being pasted to the boards disgusts me.

22. Missed the game due to work but seems I did not miss much excitement, thanks for the recap. Seemed not much hitting at all, and defense on both sides was sloppy. Woll had luck on his side tonight to win. Tomorrow may bring a very different result!

48. Good team win without 44. I hope McMann stays and is not given away for a low draft pick. His play has improved with more physicality, he can put the opposition through the boards.
    Scott Laughton has been better this year looking for a contract extension, but to be honest he can be moved if there is a quality trade available.
