Cole Kmet: Declan Doyle leaving for Ravens is a ‘big loss’ for Bears | Rahimi, Harris & Grote

On the Rahimi, Harris & Grote Show, Bears tight end Cole Kmet reacted to offensive coordinator Declan Doyle leaving the organization for the same position with the Ravens. Doyle will call plays in Baltimore, an opportunity he didn’t have in Chicago. Kmet praised Doyle’s impact on the Bears in his lone season in Chicago.

  1. Declan took care of the details which came with the pressure to fix any recurring issues that lingered for multiple games. Johnson now needs to find another coach that can handle long hours and getting chewed on when the details are lacking.

  2. Ben Johnson and Dennis Allen are the dudes to keep this going. This will not be like 2019. Having said that, the difference between the Bears and Lions was two games. The Lions played a first place schedule and the Bears a last. Lions went 1-3 against the first place teams and the Bears went 3-1 against the last place teams. Next year this will flip, with reports already coming in that the Bears will have the hardest schedule in ‘26. It’s going to be a very hard season. The difference between an 11-6 and a 6-11 team are razor thin. Even with all that coming, I have faith in the ability of the team leadership to overcome this. BEAR DOWN!!
