  1. Can we talk more structural breakdown and actual playing rather than hypothetical “we just need more” like why is what they’re doing not working and what might work?

  2. If they need to coast a bit due to Olympics and pace themselves for playoffs, why don’t they just take road losses ? At least play hard during home games

  5. I just hope being around the best clears up the mental issues afflicting Makar and MacKinnon. Makar is having a career worst season in almost every shooting metric. His shots through %(total attempts that ended up getting through to the net) on the PP is a full 10% down down from last year, and he's about eight percent down in 5v5. His OPS, DPS, and PS(how many standings points a player has made through offense, defense, and overall at even strength) are all halved from last year, and his xGF(Expected goals scored while on the ice) is THIRTY FOUR PERCENT BELOW LAST YEAR. Cannot understand how bad he has looked compared to last year. Seriously needs to get out of this funk and start twitching the twine.

    22:07 at this point just go Colton-Drury-Kelly-Malinsky-Brindley and see what those guys can do since they had the most energy this game.

  6. Not a new comment – but their powerplay is so brutal to watch. I have no idea what they are trying to do. It seems like the only options are – Makar or Mackinnon pass it back and forth and then them and ONLY them shoot the puck. I forgot – you have to throw in a try at a seam pass that has absolutely no chance of working. It's mind boggling that it's as bad as it is with the talent on the ice.

  8. Stars have 7 players and Wild have 9 players going to the Olympics and they both are still winning. Why the fuck are we using this they are bad because of the upcoming Olympics excuse?
