[Charnia] Just in: Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit have agreed to a multi-team deal that sends Jaden Ivey and Mike Conley Jr. to the Bulls and Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric to the Pistons, sources tell ESPN. Detroit also receives a 2026 first-round protected swap from Minnesota.

40. Pick swapping just to dump Conley’s salary really only makes sense if they have the other, bigger deal already agreed on in principal.

41. The only reason you make this move is if you have another one in the works. Mike is one of the most well-liked and well-respected guys in our locker room really ever. IDK if it’s going to be Giannis, but it’s for sure a precursor to a bigger deal. My guess is TC got the Bucks counter for Giannis and needed to clear up space to make something happen with Harden as a backup plan.

    But it sure sounds like he’s going all in on Giannis to which my take has always been the same – as long as Ant and Jaden aren’t involved, he can trade any combination of our remaining assets if it means getting him.
