BREAKING: Giants Hire Matt Nagy to Run the Offense
Breaking news out of New York. The Giants have officially hired Matt Nagy as their new offensive coordinator.
Boomer and Gio break down what the Nagy hire means for the Giants, John Harbaugh’s growing staff, and the future of the offense. Is this a smart, stabilizing move or a risky bet based on past results in Chicago and success in Kansas City? The guys dive into Nagy’s history calling plays, his time under Andy Reid, and why this hire could be a strong fit for rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Plus, reaction to how this move reflects organizational competence from the Giants, comparisons to the Jets still searching for an offensive coordinator, and why this could be a good problem if Nagy turns the offense around quickly.
Giants fans, is Matt Nagy the right choice?

He wasn't fired in KC he asked for his release to try and get a HC position.. just saying
I have no idea why Harbaugh made this hire. Trust in Harbaugh, I guess. The Giants better win games.
Why not just keep Kafka then if Harbaugh wanted a Reid guy who has called plays?!
I can't believe that the Giants just did exactly what they did to Daniel Jones with Jason Garrett now to Jaxson Dart with Matt Nagy. I hope I'm wrong.
💯
Great OC Hire!
My third choice for OC ..
Joe Lombardi
Mike Lafleur
Matt Nagy
The staff is coming together quite nicely!
🏆
Nothing exciting about Nagy.
Eric Bienemy was the guy making things go. Nagy wasn't responsible for any improvement in KC. He west coasts the ball all the way down the field and isn't an explosive guy. This signing is purely for familiarity and I think it sucks cause they legit didn't have a backup to Monken. Time will prove this pick to not be a good one.
I don't like the hire I have to trust Harbaugh with the pic I can only judge what KC record was if he sucks he will be gone in 1 year worst case senerio.
Would have loved charlie Weiss jr ….
Nagy is a do it my way or no way kind of play caller. He will not make halftime adjustments as us bears fans witnessed in Chicago. There is a reason why he rarely called plays in Kansas City and the reason they let him walk is because he wanted to call plays? That should have raised a flag of red.
I swear a lot of fans are so clueless and more emotional with names. There's no crying in football. 😂😂😂😂
Didn’t the Chiefs win Superbowls in ‘23 and ‘24??!! Give the guy a chance.
I like this pick. I mean listening to Giants fans complain about this is unreal. Let’s see we had Daboll, Kafka, and Bowen and now have Harbaugh, Nagy, and Wilson. Huge upgrade at every level. Yes Harbaugh wanted Monken, but guess what he got a head coaching job. Didn’t happen and Harbaugh quickly shifted and got a solid OC. Love this pick, good job JH!
you guys are so ridiculous with your video image. All that says is please listen to this please listen to this we're wild we're crazy look at us look at us look at us
lmao
Basically Jason Garrett 2.0. Awful hire.
Who cares, RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!!!
This is horrible hire
He had young athletic QBs. And he did nothing with them.
Terrible selection
As a Bears fan ima let you all know right now this is the worst news ever
Good OC’s become better with great QB’s to run their system. Case in point, Andy Reid. Andy was great in Philly, but limited with McNabb, although he was great. He comes to KC, he won before Mahomes got there. But when Mahomes gets there, he develops him and they turn into a mini dynasty. Nagy will look better with Dart running his system.
Why not hire Russell Wilson if he retires offer him the job he can show dart how to perfectly slide when Wilson was in his prime he was a really good quarterback and he ran a lot and scrambled but the one he did very very specially is slide and he would always gain more yards look at the game tape when he slides. If dark can perfect that that means the job should be so dangerous cause I'm first down dart can just start for the corner and he will gain 35 yd on one play
Why not kingsbury
