  6. Hmmm this team just isn’t playing with passion because of either keefe, fitz or both. Let’s make a change asap and see what part of the team is salvageable before the offseason.

  8. Honestly on this one fuck Bratt. Dougie’s a known quantity with cement legs. He’ll never catch up to the pucks he never manages to keep in the ozone on EN situations and that’s just the way its gonna always be.

    Bratt just doesn’t even pretend to give a shit from the blue line to the finish. Somehow one of the fastest, best skaters in the league does this huh.

    They’re playing like this because they don’t believe there’s a hope in hell they’ll be in the playoff hunt so why sell out in February. I guess the consolation is that of the 7 getting their treat going to the olympics and not caring about the NHL season most of them’ll underwhelm and get bounced before medals.

  9. Olivier got up to 20mph fighting for that goal. Dougie stayed at a mellow 17 and not a touch higher.

    Edit: Not sure about Bratt, sorry in advance.

  11. It’s time for Jesper Bratt to be healthy scratched. He should sit out the Islanders game on Thursday and be forced to watch this on repeat.

    I can see it a few ways:

    1. both N1co and Bratt saw Dougie at this point and thought he would get to it (he has the momentum and angle and about 8 feet on the closest defender) which is a normal decision to make.
    2. they forgot that Sluggie is one of the WORST skaters in the NHL and Dougie tries to do crossovers and goes about 6 feet from right to left losing speed, distance, and leverage on the defender. They should know how slow/not agile he is and get skating because even if they lose to Dougie it’s still our puck. All reward no risk.
    3. If we’re actively trying to trade Dougie why the fuck are we not just giving Nemec the ice time anyway and trying to grow his game so you can blame Keefe too

  13. Thanks for posting this. I’ve never yelled at a game before but between this effort and the traffic on 280 it made me say some not nice things. Someone probably heard it as it was pretty empty by then.

  16. Something is off with Bratt. He’s the reason the PP has sucked so bad lately. Just constantly making blind passes to the opposition and no drive. Probably injured but man it’s tough to watch.
