  1. A top 3 center that fits our window. Kadri does not. 😊 I think a trade for Panarin with an extension is more likely.

We didn't get any lucky breaks so we don't have a single asset to spare if it's not at least a 5 year player.

  2. Why would the Wings trade for a 35 and 32 yr old… both are outside the cores age group.

Yzerman will trade for someone who fits within this teams timeline not a rental nor someone past their prime

  3. I hope Detroit can get Logan Thomas. His toughness reminds me of some of the guys that were on those 97&98 championship teams. His toughness could be a huge lift for this team.

  4. I say Vincent on the rangers is a better center and weager is good I'd be ok with trocheck weager and even a Thomas from the blues three players that would make a huge impact right away go big or go home Stevie

  5. Heck why not throw in Coleman as well lol. Cgy gets more than a first and c prospect for each imo and depending on retention and all that it could be ALOT more! I dont think it happens though heh

  6. I swear I just Fn love how you idiots who never even laced up a pair of skates in your life second guess SY. Listen and listen good, SY bleeds the RWs and all he wants to do is win a Stanley cup as a GM and do it in Detroit!!!!! I don’t care if we don’t make the playoffs this year because I know that SY will do what is best for the team PERIOD and it always amazes me how many of you idiots think you know more about hockey than he does. Listen idiots just shut the F up and let the man bring the cup home where it belongs on his terms!!!!!! Idiots

  7. This would be a stupid trade given the age of these players and where the Wings are in there turn around right now. You might consider this if they were in win now mode, but they are not. I just can't see Yzerman giving assets for these 2 players. Kadri has a year or two left if that and Weegar is 31 years old. Why give up any assets for these two. You are asking him to do something stupid and I don't think he will and sure hope that he doesn't.
